Swair 101
Because of my love of lists and in order to make knowing me easier, here’s a list of 100 things about me:
1- I’m a muslim female.
2- I’m a teacher.
3- I’m a Leo, born on the 12th of August 1984.
4- I’m married.
5- I like arts, crafts and drawing..
6- I love all kinds of music except trance.
7- I used to be a boy-band-lover. (iii want it thaaaaaaaat waaayy)
8- I love making fruit salads.
9- I teach English at a high school.
10- I enjoy reading about conspiracy theories.
11- I’m a USA girl, more than a UK girl.
12- I love Romantic Comedies (movies, TV series, novels…etc.)
13- My weirdest friends think I used to be Sandra Bullock in a past life! (Yeah, right.)
14- My favorite colors are blues and warm colors (dark red, dark gold).
15- Nicknames: Saroon, Saroona, Sarai, Swair, Sari, Su and Kamsa. (cute nickname, long story)
16- I have brown eyes.
17- I’ve never had an imaginary friend..
18- The only time I cried during a movie was when Mufasa died in the “Lion King”!
19- I’m not a fan of the usual “pretty boys” the girls adore like Brad Pitt or Johnny Depp. I’m more of a Gerard Butler girl.
20- I love being creative and using photography and photoshop.
21- People always think I’m stuck up when they 1st meet me. But if you’re polite and nice, I’m nice too. Really!
22- I love making up weird insults!
23- I like funny Confucius sayings.
24- I’m the eldest and I don’t have sisters.
25- My friends think I’m a nerd/geek. I carry that title proudly lol
26- I’m a huge fan of stand-up comedy.
27- I’m not superstitious at all.
28- I have never put any of my body parts on fire just for fun.

30- I graduated from the College of Education, Kuwait University in January 2007.
31- I don’t smoke and I hate all kinds of smoke (cigarettes, cigars and sheesha)
32- My fave thing to do indoors is read and watch T.V. & photography.
33- My fave thing to do outdoors is photography and listening to my iPod.
34- I’m sometimes too loud for my own good. I sometimes forget to turn down the teacher voice.
35- The cartoon character that I remind my friends of the most is 6am6oom. (LOL)
36- I love marshmallows.
37- I’m a workaholic.

39- I love my parents.
40- My first e-mail ever was “umsoosoo”! lol, I was 13 and didn’t know any better.
41- I once took care of a little family of stray cats.
42- Even though I don’t approve of homosexuality, I wouldn’t care what a person’s sexuality was if I liked their personality.
43- I have 1 son, and my world revolves around him lol
44- I like being alone with my thoughts… I’m a little social, just not all the time.
45- My favorite actors/performers in the whole wide world are Tom Hanks and Robin Williams.
46- I thank God for every thing I have in life after watching the news.

49- I always prefer to think of my actions from different points of view before doing anything.
50- I believe in the saying: “Do unto others what you want others to do unto you.”
51- I love shopping for gifts for the people I love. Especially when it’s a personal gift, not the usual perfume/random gift card routine.
52- If I think I have a legitimate point of view in a subject, I speak up.
53- I never voted in college elections because they’re not as productive as real elections. Plus, they always fight like children anyways.
54- I hate how politicians suffocate you with text messages and fliers when they know you can read and research and look for your own candidate in your own way. (REAL elections)
55- I’d never get a tattoo.
56- I love card and board games for some family quality time. (UNO!!)
57- I am really, and I mean REALLY, stubborn.
58- I’m not as confident as a lot of people think I am.
59- I love to read history as a hobby. To me, all of history is just a point of view.
60- I always wonder how God works. It’s fascinating.
61- I don’t like/want to appear messy when it comes to assembling outfits. Having students scan you with their eyes when you first come into school makes me even more careful about the way I dress.
62- I’d love to go explore the U.S. if I had the chance. (Hollywood “road trip” movies’ effect on me, I guess.)
63- I’d love to travel the world, in fact.
64- I hate to go to weddings to see a gorgeous girl with a great body wearing something horrible or terrifying make-up. It just depresses me lol
65- I’ve been betrayed by a number of people and I can never trust them again no matter what.
66- My fave authors are: Meggin Cabot, Alexandra Potter, Dan Brown, Virginia Andrews, Cecelia Ahern and Janet Evanovich.
67- I’d love to try playing the drums. I’m guessing it’s a great way to vent.
68- Even though I’m not a complete technology freak, I love new gizmos and devices.
69- I wish I could go back in time to warn me away from stupid mistakes. It’s wrong to think that way, but one can’t help it.
70- “Flowers in the Attic” was the first major novel I’d ever read by Virginia Andrews.
71- I’m sometimes too proud.
72- Some of my friends know me better than most family members.
73- I love my blog.
74- English is like my mother language, I use it and understand it a little better than Arabic.
75- If I listen to arabic songs, it means i’m in a weird mood, because I don’t usually pay attention to them.
76- I love old songs.
77- I find it very difficult to fake emotions. If I don’t mean it, it definitely shows.
78- I’ve tried various phones/operating systems. Till now the best has been the BlackBerry.
79- I used to design dresses just for fun. I still have them stored somewhere.
80- I’m sometimes really traditional and other times I love to do something nobody’s done before.
81- I love the fact that I stopped the bad habit of biting my nails. It was a little difficult, but I love my nails now.
82- I’ve developed an “Eff it” attitude. I can’t please everyone, and if you don’t like it, eff off.
83- I feel too mature for my age.
84- I use my gmail more than my hotmail.
85- My fashion sense is VERY simple.. pretty preppy American.
86- I like the fact that I stopped keeping track of how many years I’ve been blogging.

88- I first found out about blogs from Jacqui.
89- I love unexpected sms’s or msgs from people I love.
90- I hate it when people treat me like an idiot or a child.. Or an idiot child. My blood boils.
91- I love simple natural make-up. I’m not a fan of rainbow make-up.
92- I’m sometimes hesitant about my figure… sometimes i want to be stick thin and other times I’m in love with curves.
93- I chose to wear my hejab when I was 12 years old. I’m still happy and proud of it.
94- I’m not so keen about learning new languages.
95- I’d like to complete my studies (Masters and PhD) so i can teach English etymology in a Uni.
96- I’m not a scientific or mathematical person at all, I prefer literature and arts.
97- I don’t believe in horoscopes.
98- My favorite face features are my eyes.
99- I re-wrote this whole post because I’ve changed ever since I was 19.. a LOT.
