I know… I know.. It’s been a while.. So here’s a quick re-cap of everything that’s been going on..

• I went to Marina last Friday and there were three fights, two of them by the same group..

When me and my brothers arrived to Marina, we went up to the Food Court.. As soon as we reached there, we saw some guys running around.. Apparently, one guy had hit the other and started running, causing a lunatics marathon.. the dudes with the walkie talkies and dishdashas (police? guards? I don’t know..) were running after them, so some kids started running too.. amusing!
I just shook my head and walked away..
But then as we were leaving, we heard girls screaming.. Not the “Oh My GAWD! It’s the Backstreet Boys!” kind of screaming.. More like the “BITCH YOU STOLE MA MAAYN!” kinda screaming… Of course, all the boys were all around the railing (we were still at the Food Court), hooting and hollering, just loving every second of whatever was going on downstairs, and my brothers went to check it out.. And it was true, girls really were fighting in the middle of the square at Marina… over a guy.
I sent smses around and I have to apologize to Chirp cos I couldn’t take a pic lol (and for being so late to post about it.. yabeeli 3ath, I acknowledge that)

On Sunday, I was talking to some of my students and apparently, one of them was there… After I had left with my brothers, the two sluts took their fight upstairs… so whoever missed it by being at the Food Court, got to see a rerun of all the action.. round two of the fight…

It’s so sad that those two girls are going to end up being wives and mothers some day… And as ChikaPappi said, “Yea, and they’re going to take good guys!”… Scary, I tell you.. scary.

• My beloved Nokia N70’s screen decided to die (i hit the buttons, i call myself, and i can hear the beeping and ringtone, but no screen)… so I went for something I’ve had in mind for a long long time… I got meself a Sony Ericsson P1i (details here)… I am in luuuuuuff…

• The preparation for my “8 Intelligences” workshop is under way. I’m getting a good feeling about it, but I’m still mentally prepared for a let-down.

What I’m expecting is the following:
“You’re too young to think like this!”
“Laaa, Wayed 9a3eb enghayer el manhaj kila!”
And “That’s very nice. Good luck with it. *walks away*”

• I’m taking an ICDL course… actually, I was forced into it… The headmistress called and said that my name was written down. We started on Tuesday and it is what I now call The Stupidity Chamber of Death… It’s frustrating, boring and irritating… On the very first day they taught us how to turn on the damned computer.. second day was Microsoft Word… Yesterday (3rd Day) they taught us how to Copy and Paste… I wish I was joking… I’m dying slowly..

Apparently, I’m “Umiya”… Me, a blogger, net freak, constant exam-maker, power-point lover, photoshop user… I am an umiya…

ICDL should stand for “Immediate Cause of Depression & Loserness”

I had walks in the amazing weather (when there wasn’t a lot of dust, just a bit of cool wind) and it kept me awake hehe

• I’ve noticed that the most overwhelming feeling in the world is my bare feet on the kashi at grandma’s house..

  

  Pure childhood memories started rushing through my brain… I even recalled how I could almost feel my toes burning an the skin on the bottom of my feet melt when we’d run around el 7osh without shoes… friggin’ amazing!

• Did I mention that I love my P1i?
• I’m using Photoshop more these days, I feel like I’m getting better (both at photography and photoshop)… and I’m loving Photoshop Brushes! I downloaded some off DeviantART.com and started using them to get a bit creative… What do you think of this…?

And before anybody points it out, yes I should’ve decreased the opacity of the brush, so it looks more like a tattoo than an obvious photoshop brush over the eye..
But what I’m proud of the most is the fact that I took that pic and I didn’t have any make-up on and my eyebrows were a mess lol
I wish I could thread my eyebrows, apply make-up and put on fake eyelashes and wear coloured contact lenses using Photoshop all the time.. it would make my life easier lol

• I have two tags that I’ve done but kept as drafts on Wordpress… Must post them soon…

I think that’s pretty much it… It’s been a busy couple of weeks and I miss my blogging

Lemme just get over this Exams/Corrections/ICDL/Workshop phase, and I’ll be back stronger than ever…
