Everytime I hear someone order by phone, I always smile when that person says, “El salam 3alaikum, momkin a6leb?”

The thought of the restaurant dude replying, “No, I don’t feel like it.” and hangs up, is quite funny.

Ever wonder why we say that? The whole “Momkin a6leb?” thing? Is it a show of politeness?
