All I have to say about Tarsheed is WESHALEM!! i want to squeeze all the cheeks of the people who work at that Tarsheed Phone Place (u know, where they force them to call people in various areas asking them if they’re sucking all the electricity of the country)… at least all the cute ones :p

The following conversation happend a few minutes ago:
*Phone Rings*
The Swair: Yooo, what up! (not really, just a simple “Alo?” lol)
The Tarsheed Chick: Elsalam 3alaikum… ma3ach Tarsheed something something something..
The Swair: Uhmm… ahlan… fe shay?
The Tarsheed Chick: Fee wayed estehlak fe man6aqatkum…
The Swair: We don’t really have alot of things on… baitna fe wayed darayesh so we’re using the sunlight…
The Tarsheed Chick: Mashkooreen 3ala ta3awenkum
(i’m just assuming she was smiling on the other side of the phone :p)
The Swair: uhm… 3afwan?
The Tarsheed Chick: ma3a el salaaamaa ![]()
I don’t know why i don’t find that annoying… to me, it’s just so cute for some weird twisted reason!
Here’s what i might do the next time Tarsheed calls, just to mess with them :p (trademarked to a specifc somebody who knows who he/she is)…
The Tarsheed Chick:Elsalam 3alaikum… ma3ach Tarsheed something something something..
The Swair: OH EM JI! (OMG :p) Thank GOD you called!! Ellaila ray7een 3irs oo madri shino albes?! Umi etgool lebsay 6weel oo azrag bs abi albes ge9eer oo a7mar! waaaayyy ya raabiiii, madri shasaweee!!
The Tarsheed Chick:Uhmm… *long scary silence*… ma 3indich basic black?
wahahahaha *lightening cracking in the background*
P.S: Whoever puts the mouse on the light bulb pic and can tell me where i got the “Azeeez, Light!” line from, gets a cool surprise ![]()

“ Every Woman Should… have enough money within her control to move out and rent a place of her own, even if she never wants to or needs to…
Every Woman Should… have something perfect to wear if the employer, or date of her dreams wants to see her in an hour…
Every Woman Should… have a youth she’s content to leave behind…
Every Woman Should… have a past juicy enough that she’s looking forward to retelling it in her old age…
Every Woman Should… have a set of screwdrivers, a cordless drill, and a black lace bra…
Every Woman Should… have one friend who always makes her laugh… and one who lets her cry…
Every Woman Should… have a good piece of furniture not previously owned by anyone else in her family…
Every Woman Should… have eight matching plates, wine glasses with stems, and a recipe for a meal, that will make her guests feel honored…
Every Woman Should… have a feeling of control over her destiny…
Every Woman Should… know how to fall in love without losing herself…
Every Woman Should… know how to quit a job, break up with a lover, and confront a friend without ruining the friendship…
Every Woman Should… know when to try harder… and WHEN TO WALK AWAY…
Every Woman Should… know that she can’t change the length of her calves, the width of her hips, or the nature of her parents…
Every Woman Should… know that her childhood may not have been perfect… but it’s over…
Every Woman Should… know what she would and wouldn’t do for love or more…
Every Woman Should… know how to live alone… even if she doesn’t like it…
Every Woman Should.. know whom she can trust, whom she can’t, and why she shouldn’t take it personally…
Every Woman Should… know where to go…be it to her best friend’s kitchen table…or a charming inn in the woods…when her soul needs soothing…
Every Woman Should… know what she can and can’t accomplish in a day… a month…and a year… “
I love this poem! My mom sent it to my e-mail and everytime I read it, I feel like yelling out “Hell YEAH!” after every line lol…
* I’m addicted to the PostSecrets application on Facebook… it’s like reading PostASecret postcards!
* I want to see The Nanny Diaries movie..
[youtube=http://youtube.com/watch?v=w5v5WQFl2UE]
I’m not a huge fan of Scarlett Johansson, but Alicia Keys and Chris Evans (Total Hotnesses, i tell you!) are in the movie… I read the book and it was cute, so i’d just like to see the movie version and if it’s just as nice…
* Cat poopoo as coffee!?!?! WTF?!! Sure gives another meaning to eat sh*t!
* I saw Stranger Than Fiction and it was a very sweet movie, Will Ferrel in a serious role is quite refreshing and nice… Emma Thompson is amazing in the movie too…
* I need more Weeds & Heroes! LOL
* I love my flats! (shoes, not apartments :p)

* I miss work… I think i’m the only person in this whole wide world who’d ever say that… I just miss the action in the classroom… grading papers, helping people improve their english… blekh, shiba3t 3i6la lol
* I’m addicted to Arroword puzzles these days!

They’re fun and better/easier than Crosswords!
* i REALLY love Candeh… it’s just so sexy, red, smooooth and delicious… yummmm..

i went to see Ratatoiulle at Marina’s cinema last night and i had to pick up some goodies from the Sweet Factory.. or was it called Candy Box? dunno, but it was tasty anyway :p As for the movie, I’d read the review on Jackie’s blog before so when my cousins said they were going, i didn’t hesitate to ask if my uncle could reserve a spot for me too :p
i think that’s about it… any more randomness, and i’ll save it for another post ;D
So as I said before, this trip to Dubai was quick, spontaneous and fun… i think we went to “almost” all the malls there lol
We went to… hmm.. let’s see… City Center, Dubai Mall, Dubai Festival City and Ibn Batoota Mall (where I took most of the pics)… and I think that’s it…
Anyways, here’re a bunch of random pics i took there…. and of course, with comments!
From Ibn Batoota Mall:

They had a huuuge World Map on the ground (obviously), so i took a pic with me standing near the Gulf… there’s Kuwait!

IIIII LOVE CAANNDEH!! *shakes her bonbon* and yes, i covered my face, eshtabooon!

I saw this poster for an indian movie called Marigold, and i found it very interesting that Ali Larter (Jessica/Nicky from Heroes) is in the movie with Salman Khan!

Magrudy’s Bookstore! The Ultimate Bookstore Hotness! A very unfortunate name but an amazing bookstore! it seriously kicks Jareer’s ass! and of course, Virgin Megastore is just a 1/4 of what it used to be, so it’s almost useless… When do we get our very own Magrudy’s?

This live band was AMAZING!

This looked goregous, so I had to take a pic… this is what Dubai’s going to look like in the near future…

There was this tiny shack thingy that took names and you’d have to come back in 30 minutes to see the finished painting… so i got my very own “Swair” painting *wiggles eyebrows* <— For Princess :p
Dubai Festival City:

We took a tiny boat ride near Dubai Festival City Mall and it was fun… And yes that’s MY reflection holding the camera! ;D

Found this Coughing & Screaming Ashtray! I should’ve bought it for all those smokers out there!

I saw Aldo’s GuestBook so i HAD to sign it! (I bought a wallet, hence the”YAY! NEW WALLET!” comment)

For the curious, these are the books i had with me/bought from Dubai!
The Catherine Alliott book is my birthday gift from Sou, and i enjoyed reading it during the flight *wiggles eyebrows for Sou*…
The other four are from Magrudy’s (see above!) and thanks to Mimi for the “Girls Of Riyadh” review, that sorta convinced me to buy the book lol

I love this shot, check out the shadow of the plane on the ground right before landing! ;D
And that’s pretty much it… but if you’d like to check out more pics, check out my “Artsy Fartsy” aka Deviantart gallery ![]()
