Last night was alot of fun!

The main theme was food, but unfortuneatly not alot of people brought food for the cooking contest (one appetizer and three desserts! damn it!) and i panicked a little, so we had to make up more segments to fill the time, but thank God they ended up being alot of fun, and we had alot of laughs…
We had segments like “Hacking The Juice” where people taste a mixture of milk and a juice that they have to figure out… then we had a Table Topics session (random topics that nobody knows about until u get on stage and they give u the topic so u can talk about it for 1 to 2 minutes)…
Then we had a segment called 3arabi English where we got to talk about anything we like but we had to talk in both arabic and english switching from one language to another with every word (example: I ri7t the jam3iya because ana love atsawag alot oo i ma7eb sitting bilbait…)..
Then we had an “Are You Feeling Fruity?” segement that was a 22-question quiz about all types of fruits (i won! yay! only three mistakes lol)…

The last segment was what everybody was waiting for, The Cooking Competition.. but we turned it into a dessert competition lol a friend of mine, Nawar, won because she made some tasty chocolate brownies
We ended up ordering alot of Pizzas from Papa John’s for dinner which was very tasty lol

And that was pretty much it, we had fun, ate, laughed our heads off and sang happy birthday to one of our members since it happened to be her birthday yesterday hehe

So to those who missed it… HAH!!!.. ok, no, that’s not what i wanted to say lol… what i really mean is i hope u can make it next time!

I know, i know! I’m late! I was just busy the past few days.. anyway, so i’ll stop typing, here’s my whole trip in points:

Friday:
* I had to wake up at 3:30 in the morning because we had to leave the house at 5 and i hadn’t finished packing yet.. i got up cranky, washed up, turned on some stand-up comedy to cheer me up, ironed my clothes, put on make-up, put the make-up in my suitcase along with my toothbrush and bathroom stuff…
* Got the the airport, bought some random puzzle book (crosswords, logic games and quizes), then saw a little girl’s hairband on the ground and felt a tiny bit sorry for her…

* Got on the plane, arrived in Bahrain, then laughed at the pilot who said “Mar7aban bikum fe dawlat… uhm.. Mamlakat el bahrain” (”Welcome to the State of… uhm.. Kingdom of Bahrain”)…

* Saw my grandpa and cousin at the airport and went to my uncle’s house where we were staying and rested for the rest of the day…

Saturday:
* Breakfast at Grandpa’s…
* Shopping at Marina Mall (so much better than the Kuwaiti version)… had some great shopping quality time with my mom and aunt..
* Saw a shop called Sarah’s Secrets and HAD to take a pic :p

* Had lunch at el-Dana Mall.. then we were dropped off at the salon..
* Went to my cousin’s wedding… had lots of fun..
* Went to bed :p

Sunday:
* Woke up… skipped breakfast (yes, i’m such a rebel :p)
* Went to the Museum with my mom, grandpa and cousin… here’re a bunch of museum-related pics:

* Went to the Bahrain Mall for some lunch…
* Then went to check out the new Ramez, it’s the best place to take funny pics of interesting produts :p check these out:

* Went to souq elM7arrag to buy some fancy 3abayat… saw a little store that sold muscial instruments… or as the badliya in arabic says “adawat meeseeqiya”…

* Then spotted an old local mosque, took some pics since it was sunset and it looked very nice…

* Later that night we went out for some dinner at a restauant called “el-Abraj” which is funny since we were going back to Kuwait the next morning.. it was a very nice restaurant, and i liked the way they decorated the place even though it wasn’t very Kuwaiti :p

Then we got to the airport early the next day and that was it :p

I’m BACK in Kuwait and i miss my rooom, my things, my bed, my TV, my dvd player, my pink iron, and how everything’s where it should be!

*turns on the music* Sing it!
