Ok, so the Oscars are done and over with… oo 3arafna who won and who didn’t… but i really don’t care… i only wanted to see the fashion, and the majority of the dresses SUCK… i think the only fun Oscar-related thing is this:

The Cat Concerto is a one-reel animated cartoon short subject in the Tom and Jerry series, produced in Technicolor and released to theatres on 26 April 1947 by Metro-Goldwyn Mayer.

It was produced by Fred Quimby and directed by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera, with musical supervision by Scott Bradley, and animation by Kenneth Muse, Ed Barge and Irven Spence. It won the 1946 Academy Award for Best Short Subject: Cartoons.

So on the 25th of Feb, my family and i decided to go check out places in kuwait that kuwaitis don’t usually go to or want to acknowledge their existence.. so we went to the zoo lol

the last time i went there i was 10 or 11, so it’s been around 12 years since i last went to the Zoo here in kuwait…

my little brothers were excited, they wanted to see real life wild animals, they wanted to see the giraffes, the camels, the lions, the tigers, wolves, monkeys and elephants.. so we went and we had a bunch of fun.. sure, it’s stinky in some areas, but it was still fun to see my little brothers laugh and run around like crazy, pointing and shreiking that they’ve finally seen an elephant or a monkey lol

I think you’d notice by the Thought Log, and the Thought Of The Day box in the side bar that i’m a lover of quotes, thougts and witty one-liners… But what would be better than that is to have them on T-shirts! I don’t think there’s a blogger who DOESN’T know about Tata Botata’s t-shirts and people are starting to recognize them and buy them, and i like his designs in general, but what i’d also like to see are those one-liners i love on some t-shirts too… so i went searching for those types of t-shirts and it was easy because some people go to ThinkGeek for t-shirts and panties, but they’re all Geek-related, and i wanted something more general… then i found the Sick Idiots website! they’ve got the rudest t-shirts lol but i found some that are pretty nice and wearable or u can say suitable for the public eye lol

It’s the 24th of Febuary, and my friend Lily just turned 41 *lily sobbing in the background*, and we’re having a tiny (very tiny), intimate (very intimate) birthday party with her (it’s just me, Princess and Lily). Here are the highlights/tidbits of the gathering (anything bain qosain, is a note from me):

* Lily: “Can i eat this candle?” Princess: “Yea, sure, it’s edible.” (candles AREN’T edible)

* Lily: “You should try breast-feeding. It’s Amazing!” (yes, she still remembers being breast-fed)

* Lily: “What’s a Dirty Sanchez?” Swair: *explains* (yes, i know EVERYTHING)

* Lily: “The chef masturbated in the cake, look, it’s white!… it did taste weird.” (it was actually whipped cream)

* Lily talking about the 32 year old guy who proposed to her: He said:” “I’m a virgin! and i never touched myself!” yea, RIGHT!” (yes, we hate men)

* Princess: “Enshalla 7amani dies in Austrailia! esmella 3alaih!” (you know when you love someone so much you want them to die?)

* Lily expressing what R *random guy Princess knows* can do: *frowns, holds imaginary hair and goes “UURRRRRR!!!!” (don’t ask)

* Lily: sayedna Adam can fit in here!” (talking about how tall people were in the past)

* The three of us laughing at 3amer whil he’s laughing evilly and playing “Kitten Cannon“…

* Princess: “OMG OMG! That’s scary!” (we were talking about sayedna Adam being a giant)

* Lily: “Marshmellows feel like boobs”.. *Swair handing her the marshmellows”: “have some boobs please.. (we’re perverts, we know)

* Lily: i’ve always believed that the sound of crickets at night was actually the stars twinkling… (we were talking about what we believed as kids)

* Swair: “When you sew, you’re actually poking the devil in the eye… Domestication gone Wild..” (i was sewing something i made… will post about it as soon as it’s done)

* 3amer: “peeejjjja!!! (ya3ni pizza)” (how can you have a gathering without Caesar’s pizza?) 

And that was pretty much the summary of our gathering lol… We had alot of fun, we caught up with each other, we laughed, we ranted, ate and just enjoyed ourselves in general… Enshalla we’ll have another gathering sooon, bs with the rest of the knights there… Juju, Nutti, Fantasia, Noona, Kalikabooki: we missed you today! enshalla we’ll have a bigger and better get-together soon

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LILO!!

Everybody knows that KU’s has had its share of weird problems and memorable situations when it comes to things students can and can’t do. But here’s the latest, and by far the weirdest and most unbelieveable.

This poster was designed by a friend of mine for the english day. As u can see, it shows a pregnant woman and the words “Due Date. 18/3/2007 The English Day ‘07″.. It’s that simple.
Here’s the weird part: They’re banning this poster from being hung all around KU, the reason?

the pregnant lady.

how can a pregnant lady “et7areth 3ala el fisq wel fijoor”? or make people horny and want to do naughty naughty things as soon as possible?

or maybe this poster can get the female students all motherly and would force them jump on the first male they come upon just to have a baby?

or maybe the ppl who want to ban it are the type to love kinky sex involving pregnant women? i can just imagine one of the guys having 25 kids because his wife only looks HOT when she’s pregnant!

but i still don’t get it, do u? it’s not like the designer portrayed the conception, right?

ok, so let’s examine the picture some more… maybe it’s because she doesn’t have sleeves on..

does that turn men on? and if they’re going to ban it because of that, doesn’t that also mean that they have to ban half the female population of all the KU colleges? why not force them to wear uniforms ba3ad while ur at it?

help me understand this, because i really really really don’t get how a perfectly good poster with creativity (which KU really REALLY lacks) is a BAD thing?
