ok, so since i have time to post here, lemme post about what i’m in love with these days: Outlandish..
now, i’ve loved this band a long time ago.. but their latest album (Closer Than Veins) is amazing..
their first album (Bread & Barrels Of Water) was more cultural than religious.. this one HAS culture but there are more religious references or ideas than the first one.. their song “Look Into My Eyes” is like a letter to ppl in America and Europe, asking them to see things through muslims’ (specifically ppl in Palestine) eyes.. it’s actually quite meaningful and nice.. begining of the song says:

Another song, called “I’ve Seen” is about what we’re going through.. or as they put it, what this “Ummah” is going through.. part of it goes:

So this is what i’m listening to these days.. it’s a good way to show ppl who think that all muslims are terrorists or don’t have brains that we actually have a way of life and we’re not idiots.. we know what’s happening in the world and we know what we’re going through ourselves..
so anyways, lemme get off my soap box and tell u that u should all get the album cos other than the lyrics being nice, their voices and songs in general are all very nice 
so.. yea… i’ll see y’all lol
