The moving process is still going on and it’s boring as usual… i’m sitting here with 3amer asleep in my lap… there’s been this subject that i wanted to talk about…

Something that pisses me off is how people who think they’re “mitdayneen” are hypocrites! Thak ilyom ri7t 3irs nas, oo kano yaybeen mulaya… and i know these people oo el mafrouth 3adi ina yesmi3oon aghani, so i asked my mom: “itha uhma 3adi 3indihum yesmi3oon aghani, laish 7ag far7at’hum, fe 3roos’hum, eyeyboon mulaya?” and what my mom said was pretty shocking, she said:”cos they think they’re mitdayneen in a certain society and in front of their mitdayneen friends they have to keep an image so they hire mulayat instead of a DJ.”

Enzain LAISH? What stupid image is THAT?? 3adi ina u listen to music on the radio, the TV and all around you but when it comes to a happy event like a wedding, an annoying mulaya is there… how do you expect people to get up and dance and share your happiness if they’re sitting around listening to a mulaya singing a very bad imitation of a 7sain Jasmi song?

And the mulaya at the wedding i went to was so bad, it was undiscribeable… her voice was scratchy like a 13 year old kid who just hit puberty! It was so annoying cos the speakers were loud, and the only time they played an actual song from the part-time DJ they hired was when there was a Maimi song some young girls requested… i guess il mulayat couldn’t really sing: “burumbum…i7na oo intoo…burumbum….wain ma kintoo” and that’s the only time when everybody got up oo 9ar fe nasha6 bil 3irs!

and during the 3irs, this is what the old ladies would think about:

When a girl is wearing a short skirt at a wedding: A Wife For My Son!!!

When a girl dances very well: When does she get the time to practise… m9eeeeeba!!!

When a girl dances 3adi: She’s ok… khair el ashya’a aw9a6ha or whatever (which is weird cos this means the old lady is fine with you)

When a girl doesn’t dance at all: shino hatha?!?!? Akeed mafe layaqa for my son in bed, 3ayal ma minha fayda!

When they tell an old lady that some newly-wed chick isn’t pregnant: Waaayyy, akeed el 3aib feeeha! Wela how else would you explain it??!!

When they tell an old lady that some newly-wed chick IS pregnant: Weeeeee, ma 9adigaw 3ala allah they jump into bed so fast and get pregnant!!!

*sighs* i just had to rant my heart out… but there are any people who are offended by what i had to say, I DON’T CARE! It’s the truth and you can’t change it…
