I’m writing this post using pen and paper (a glittery metal green pen to be exact lol i’m such a girl) I’m in my Sociolinguistics class, maikhalif shwaya batfalsaf, and this is what’s going on:

(2:15) My friend Zanoobia is giving her presentation about politeness and the differences from each class status to another… she’s doing great, giving examples of politeness from B.E (British English), A.E (American English), and K.A (Kuwaiti Arabic). She’s giving examples from men’s and women’s diwaniya’s and ga3dat… (why am i giving you details anyway? :p lol) this is cool… la7tha…

hey! I’m sitting here in a computer lab in college and all these chicks are in chatting rooms (there’s this girl sitting next to me, her chatting nick-name is “Dala3″!) while i’m working on my tasjeel (my jadwal now i PERFECT!!!) and finishing off my e-mails and posting up on the blog…

tawa a chick (two girls away from me) turned up the sound to listen to um kalthoom lol, weird people here (6a3 min yet7acha)…

there seems to be an anonymous person here who doesn’t know who we are (/me gets mock-angry), please don’t ask who “we people” are until after you check out Kuwaiti blogs, then you’ll know we are the best batch of the wierdest and craziest and maybe even the most “special” people in the whole wide kuwaiti community… from your nickname, i don’t know whether you’re kuwaiti or not, so maybe the Kuwailish freaked you out lol (kuwailish, btw, is Kuwaiti English, like code-switching from arabic to english or typing in arabic but with english font… 3ashaw il linguistics students LOL)

minziman my parents ma kano rathyeen i buy colored 3adasat since i wear glasses, bas tawhum rethaw so i’m haaaaappy u can even ask Jackie about how happy i looked cos she saw me wearing them 2day (i bought green colorblends so they could look natural with my brown eyes), so ask her what she thinks i look like hehe i think i look The Hotness :p

anyways, 2day’s weather was goregous! sij i was freezing my now non-existent nuts off, bas it was still great lol

i prefer cold jaaf than cold and humid cos the rain can really mess up your composure (3ishtaw we’re starting to use big words :p)

can’t being a blogger be a job? it’s just like journalism but we don’t get paid… (and we should be!) people get paid cos their talent is singing and they have great voices so we should be paid for our ability to entertain people with our infectious chirpy and pleasant-to-read posts and getting to know our great (e7em e7em) personalities… am i right or am i right? hehehe
